DAY ONE

Introduction

  • Roles available and the participant’s employment expectations
  • Participants are asked to identify their expectations with employment opportunities from the vacancy list. 
  • A copy of your CV/Resume is collected and reviewed by ARS staff who will review and identify current and future roles available

Role & Responsibilities

  • Flight Attendant, Passenger / Customer Service, Aircraft Loader, Ground Handling & Ground Services Support
  • Current Positions Available in New Zealand
  • Review the interaction between roles, objectives and expectations that employers have through staffing positions
  • Requirements for available Roles. (overview of application, selection and assessment process)
  • Review Airport Safety and Operations
  • Presentation on aircraft and airport operations and environment

DAY TWO

Auckland International Airport Tour 

  • Assemble at the meeting point to transfer to the Domestic Terminal Auckland Airport for escorted ‘Day in the Life’ of available roles
  • Review Airport environment Passenger / Customer Service face to face.
  • Automated check systems, check and carry-on baggage, airline service differences, able bodied passengers, passenger disability and service support, dangerous restricted items and passenger security, baggage handling
  • Domestic / International Differences
  • Airport security screening, Aviation security
  • Airport Business Class facilities passenger services and terminal facilities air-side
  • Aircraft Handling: arrival, deplaning, ground service, loading, feulling & departure
  • Aircraft Types and Differences
  • Review Ground Handling Agents (Domestic & International)

Return to Training Room

  • Review applications and submission
  • ARS Recruitment staff will conduct a one on one review of participants resume & prepare application guidelines
  • Role Play Actual Interview
